Boring music equipment stuff :) Just had to change the power supply from Gator G-BUS-8 Multi Power Supply (it had really good ratings everywhere) for Mooer Macro Power, because Gator hummed quite noticeably, especially with higher combo volume. At first, I blamed the pedals or cables for that, but it was Gator. Weird. Really hope Mooer won't have this kind of problems.

I have just 2 pedals (MXR M80 Bass DI Plus and PolyTune 3 Tuner) + sometimes add a fuzz (it's needed for a couple of songs I play in a band), but even with those two I just got sick and tired of having to carrying them in a backpack. My usual rehearsal set consists of these 2 pedals, 2 short cables, 1 long cable, a power "daisy chain", a few patch cables, and the big studio headphones. Imagine of these things carried in a backpack and what a horrible mess are they when I finally come to the...

My new Ampeg amplifier has arrived! It's about time because I ordered it like 3 weeks ago... Anyway it's an Ampeg BA 210 V2 Combo with 450W, 2x10" LF / 1" HF, Ultra Hi/Low and a Bass Scrambler overdrive on board. Oh, wait, it sounds sweet too :) Of course it's not for home... My neighbours are angels and they've never complained about me playing through my old 35W amp without any headphones on once in a while, but 450W is a weapon of mass destruction. I don't wanna irritate people, no I don't....

I know, I know, my last cover was published exactly 2 weeks ago and it's damn long time for me. I have no one to blame here, I just decided to do a cover for a song that happened to be quite hard... in both senses - heavy and hard to play :) I just wanted it to sound right or at least not sucky, so I had to work on it more than usual. I really hope to publish the cover this week though.

Halloween is almost there and even though I don't really celebrate it I do love horror movies... So the next bass cover is going to be a very special one. First, it will have a bit of action and second, it will be heavily influenced by a horror movie you all know :) It's not like I'm going Hollywood or anything, I just wanted to have some fun, do a cover of a classic rock song I'v always loved and make it special.
