Since “Raise Your Fist & Yell” is one of my favorite Alice Cooper albums it was a matter of time before I did something from this magnificent but not especially popular release. It still fascinates me how far Alice stepped from his usual style with "Raise..." He used to be experimental, dazzling, and lyrical but never so brutal and heavy before. If "School's Out" or "From The Inside" were slaps in the society's face, "Raise Your Fist & Yell" was a hit with a hammer. What an album, man!
"Step On You" is not an easy song to play. I mean the first 75% of it is not difficult but it took me quite some time to manage the rest of it. It kind of shows why Alice chose Kip Winger to be his comeback bassman in 1986. He did an awesome job. Enjoy!
