I remember I had to drive somewhere and I didn't feel so well. I was depressed and uncertain of my future. And suddenly I heard this song on the radio. “Steh auf, wenn du am Boden bist” (“Stand up when you're on the floor”) by Die Toten Hosen (an extremely popular German pop punk band) is just a typical “come on, cheer up, everything's not that bad” song, I know it but for some reason that was exactly what I needed back then. It was like a message from a close friend in the musical form and it really helped.
So, here it is, a simple yet catchy pop punk anthem. Enjoy!
